Donors Needed for CCC Blood Drive
COLBY, Kan. (April 1, 2025) — The Leadership and Presidential Scholars at Colby Community College are hosting a community blood drive from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, in the Robert Burnett Student Union. Eligible donors aged 16 or older, in good health, and weighing at least 110 pounds are encouraged to donate to help meet the urgent need for blood.
Donors help patients of all ages: accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those battling cancer.
All donors on April 16 get a T-shirt and a chance to win a $5,000 prize.
Appointments are encouraged and can be made by visiting www.redcrossblood.org or calling 1-800-RED CROSS (733-2767). A photo ID or Red Cross Donor Card is required at check-in.

Colby Community College Trojans Booster Club 
meetings will start being held on Mondays at 12:30 p.m., starting Monday, October 7th. These meetings will be held in the Student Union on the Colby campus in room 106, located near the mail room and cafeteria. Supporters and those interested in Colby Athletics are encouraged to attend with a free meal provided by the college through the cafeteria on campus. There will also be coaches and student-athletes there to present to discuss their programs and get to know the community. Feel free to stop by and join for a meal as we discuss Colby Trojans Athletics.
