Picnic in the Park
starts on June 7th! Kick off your summer with the Picnic in the Park concert series with Wiggins & Dirt Road Gospel Band at noon at Fike Park. The Rotary Club will be serving a free-will offering Sloppy Joe meal. Bring your own lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. For more information call (785) 460-3401.

Women's Basic Handgun Instruction
This class will held at Bedker Hall at Colby Community College running from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 10th. It will teach basic handgun safety and fundamental operation for women

This Month at Pioneer Memorial Library

Story Walk- May 1-14
The Pioneer Memorial Library is hosting "If the Dinosaurs Came Back" located at the Oasis Playground (Hwy 25 & Horton Ave.) from now - May 14th. The goal of StoryWalk is to help build children's interest in reading while encouraging healthy outdoor activity for both adults and children. It aligns perfectly with the No Child Left

Colby Community College concert band and jazz ensemble will perform "A Night At The Movies" starting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 4th, at Frahm Theatre on the college campus.


Easter Hunts

Held at Wheat Haven Home starting at 11:00 a.m. on April 8th with lunch following. The hunt is sponsored by McDonald Area Development.

In Atwood:
There will be an Easter Egg Hunt for children up through 5th grade at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 8th at the high school football field in Atwood. Hosted by Radiant Chapter Eastern Star.

Colby Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt is for children 1-9 years old and will be held Saturday, April 1st at Fike Park beginning at 10 a.m.. Over 1,800 plastic eggs will be filled with coins, candy and local
