Academy Winds on Monday, March 18th
The United States Air Force presents Academy Winds, featuring works by Jeff Scott, Amy Beach, David Maslanka and more. Located at the Colby Community College Cultural Arts Center - Frahm Theatre, the recital will begin at 7:30 p.m. The event is FREE and open to the public.

Business After Five
Join the Colby/Thomas County Chamber for an evening of networking! Visit with like-minded professionals, enjoy delicious food, and sip on refreshing drinks brought to you by the Citizens Health on Tuesday, March 19th. CMCI will also share more about their new EMR and patient portal, MyChart. Hospital staff available to help you sign up for MyChart and help with any questions.

Third Thursday Art Gallery Walk
The final Gallery Walk of the season will be held at the Prairie Museum of Art and History and Jonas Gallery. It is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 21st. The museum will feature mixed media artwork by the McCook Art Guild. The Jonas Gallery will feature works by Lawrence Paint Haus, Madison Tubbs and other KU grads. A reception for the exhibiting artists will take place during the Gallery Walk. Refreshments will be served, and all are welcome!

Chicken Fried Steak Night
American Legion Post No. 363 will have a drive-through Chicken Fried Steak Night from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 23rd. Meals are $12 each. Please use Experiment Station Road and enter the Legion drive from the south.

Easter Egg Hunt
Kiwanis Club is putting on an Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Bunny meet and great. It starts at 10 a.m. at Fike Park in Colby on Saturday, March 23rd. Age groups include 0-3, 4-6 and 7-9.

Tumbleweed Chorus Annual Show
The Tumbleweed Chorus will present their 42nd annual show at the Colby Community College Cultural Arts Center starting at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 23rd. It will include the Hays High Plains Chorus and will feature The Newfangled Four as the guest quartet. It will also include the Prairie Rose Chorus, Uncalled Four Quartet, Prairie Timbre Quartet, Genuine Gents Quartet and Big Creek Quartet. Tickets are $10. For tickets call (785) 694-3057.

Sunday Bingo To Start
The Colby Veterans of Foreign Wars is starting a Bingo event every Sunday at 6 p.m. at 220 N. Lake Ave., Concessions will be provided by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. For more information call Gerald Plantz at (785) 443-1802.

Fresh Conversations
Join Karen Jones from SNAP-Ed K-State Extension as she talks about Macular Degeneration: Sight-Saving Strategies. The discussion will be held at the Colby Housing Authority Community Room (600 S Mission Ridge Ave) at 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday, March 13th.

Helping Paws
needs dry cat, dog food and litter. Helping Paws is accepting donations, supplies can be brought to the Colby United Methodist Church during office hours or picked up by volunteers.
