Warm start to the week with highs in the 90's and low 100's today and tomorrow. Shower and thunderstorm chances return to the forecast starting Tuesday night, with chances mixed in  through Thursday night. These storm systems moving in bring cooler temperatures for the middle of the week - with the possibility of another 80 degree day on Thursday. Otherwise - expect highs in the low 90's for the majority of the week. Overnight lows range in the lower to mid 60's this week.

Events Around the Colby Area

Grinnell Rebuild Concert on Sunday, July 27th
The Pride of the Prairie Orchestra is having a Grinnell rebuild concert. The concert will feature members of the orchestra in solo and small ensembles. We plan to have refreshments following. Taking place at 3:00 PM, CST, Frahm Theater on the CCC campus in Colby. Proceeds will go to the Gove County Community Foundation to support Grinnell's rebuild.

Last Round of Picnic in the Park
Join us for the last Picnic in the Park for the summer, with music from Shannon Myers and sloppy joes provided by the Colby Rotary Club! Bring your lawn chair and enjoy the music in Fike Park at noon. The free will donation taken will help benefit a variety of the Colby Rotary club's community service projects.
