Events Around the Atwood Area

In Atwood:
Summer Food-Service Program Returns
USD 105 will be providing free meals to children during the summer. Meals will served at the Rawlins County Elementary School beginning Monday, May 24th through Friday, July 2nd from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. There are no income requirements. Families do not need to register for the program. Any child under the age of 18 may come to eat. In lieu of an afternoon snack served at Kelley Park, a snack will be packaged and sent home with each child that comes to lunch. 

Museum Hours
Starting May 1st, the Rawlins County Museum will begin summer hours. Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to noon and from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Call to schedule family tours or to book the Historical Church for weddings.

Fried Chicken Dinner
2nd Sunday each month at the Atwood Masonic Lodge. 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with take out available! Call Dave: 785-626-6107.

Rawlins County Public Health Department Notice
School is Out, Summer is Here! Call for your child's: vaccinations, child care physicals, Pre-K physicals, Kindergarten Physicals for the 2021-2022 School Year.
 
Meals and Wheels Volunteers Needed
The Atwood senior center is needing volunteers to deliver meals on wheels.  Meals are delivered Monday through Friday from 11:00 until noon.  If you can volunteer contact the Atwood Senior Center.
