ACE Foundation to host Match Day event Dec. 15
The ACE Foundation will host its annual Match Day event on Monday, Dec. 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Shirley Opera House. Community members are invited to stop by throughout the day to visit with board members, meet Executive Director Jo Argabright, enjoy refreshments, and make a contribution to the Rawlins County Future Fund during this important month of giving.
December is Match Month for the ACE Foundation, meaning every local donation made during the month is tripled thanks to generous dollar-for-dollar matches from the Dane G. Hansen Foundation and the Patterson Family Foundation. The community fundraising goal is to raise $100,000 locally, which will grow into $300,000 invested back into Rawlins County. All Match Month donations support the Rawlins County Future Fund, an endowed fund dedicated to strengthening the long-term vitality of the com munity. These dollars help the ACE Foundation fulfill its mission of supporting programs, projects, and opportunities that enhance the quality of life for residents and ensure a vibrant future for generations to come.
“Our community shows time and again how much they care about the future of Rawlins County,”
said Executive Di rector Jo Argabright. “Match Month is a chance for all of us to come together, invest in what matters, and create lasting impact. Every gift—big or small— truly makes a difference.” This year, the ACE Foundation is also celebrating a major milestone. With the community’s continued support, the Rawlins County Future Fund is within reach of surpassing one million dollars in total contributions, inspiring the Match Month slogan: “Let’s Make a Million Together.”Those unable to attend Match Day can still participate in Match Month by donating any time during December. Contributions may be mailed to the ACE Foundation at PO Box 224, Atwood, KS 67730; dropped off at any Rawlins County bank; given to any board member or the Executive Director; or sub mitted through the Foundation’s online portal, https://gnwkcf.org/matchacef/.
The ACE Foundation encourages all community members to stop by the Opera House on Dec. 15, learn more about the Fund’s impact, and take part in this once-a-year opportunity to triple their investment in Rawlins County’s future.
