Red Cross 8th Annual Blood Drive

8th Annual Blood Drive In Memory of Luke Schemm will be on March 6th at the Wallace County High School Gym

[SHARON SPRINGS, FEB. 19, 2024] — Luke Schemm loved competing on the football field but knew there was more to life than sports. The Wallace County High senior had a heart of gold and enjoyed helping others.

In 2015, Luke’s life was tragically cut short at 17 years old after he collapsed during a football playoff game. His giving spirit is greatly missed, and we encourage you to commemorate it by donating at the 8th annual American Red Cross Sharon Springs Community Blood Drive in Memory of Luke Schemm.

Wednesday, March 69:45 a.m.–3:45 p.m.
Wallace County Schools-High School Gym

“Giving the gift of blood is an act that recognizes Luke’s compassion and drive to help others. I’m grateful to our community and the Red Cross for honoring his memory,” said Lisa Schemm, Luke’s mother.

Don’t wait − make an appointment to give blood by visiting, downloading the Red Cross Blood Donor App, or calling 1-800-RED CROSS.
