November 2nd:

Increasing clouds today with chances for showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. The highs in the mid 60's will hit by noon then start dropping to the low to mid 50's for the afternoon. Breezy conditions today as well with gusts as high as 35 mph. Shower chances continue through the overnight bringing mostly cloudy lows around 41, the breezy conditions are expected to continue as well. Tomorrow we may wake up to some fog in the early morning. Clouds should start clearing off through the day with highs around 50 expected and breezy conditions with gusts as high as 35 mph. Highs are forecast to range in the 50's for the majority of the week, with overnight lows ranging in the 30's after tonight.

Turkey Supper - Wednesday, November 11

Brewster Community Turkey Supper hosted by Brewster School from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Brewster School cafeteria. Brewster students and community members will be hosting the annual supper with all the fixings and desserts. Donations will go towards future school and community events. To-go orders are available as well. Come early before they run out! 

In Colby:

USDA Distribution - Tuesday, November 3

USDA commodities will be distributed from 1 to 1:30 or while supplies last at the RSVP Office in the Senior Progress Center. Distribution is based on income eligibility. Commodities are provided on a first come, first served basis and distribution will not begin before the advertised time. If an eligible person cannot attend, they may send someone to pick up their commodities with a pick-up request note that includes their name, address, household size and signature.
