Decision Weather: June 14th:
There is a slight risk for severe weather across the area during the late afternoon-evening. Clusters of storms are anticipated to move generally east-northeast across the area with all hazards being possible, including large hail, damaging winds, a few tornadoes, and a heavy rainfall/flooding risk. Above average temperatures will return this weekend, high's in triple digits on Father's Day. Some thunderstorms are expected Friday afternoon and evening. A few storms are possible over the weekend.

This Month at Pioneer Memorial Library

Monday, June 10th- Library Summer Learning Program
Bring the kids out for "Nature Cat: Can you Dig it?" An adventure in composting at Pioneer Memorial Library at 2:30 PM. Each child in attendance will receive a free book. Presented by Smoky Hills and PBS.

There will be free hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, drinks and cookies.
We will have the Elks Essay Contest Winner awards.
A flag that has been flown over our Nations Capitol will be presented.

Picnic in the Park is back for the summer! Every Wednesday for June through July, bring your lawn chair and sack lunch and enjoy the music in Fike Park at noon! Monica and Karla Bugbee perform this week, June 12th! Sponsored by Hi-Plains Coop and Kiwanis (Hot Dog Feed) and proceeds go towards the Kiwanis Fireworks Display.
