Military Reenactment
The Tri-State Antique Engine and Threshers Association is hosting its 3rd Military Show on April 26 and 27 in Bird City. Call 785-734-2291 for more information.

In Oberlin:
Blood Drive for Miriam's Hope
Decatur Health will be collecting assorted baby needs for the month of April to donate to Miriam's Hope! What we need: Diapers, diaper cream, formula, baby powder, baby wipes, baby bath products, etc. Drop off donations at Decatur Health during the entire month of April! 

In Atwood:
Students' Art Show
Rawlins County Jr.-Sr. art students' local art show is from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on April 30th at Shirley Opera House.

Kindergarten Round-Up
Friday, April 26th from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. and again from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Rawlins County Elementary School. Please call the school at 785-626-3217 to schedule an appointment.

Town and Country Rummage Sale
Atwood Town and Country Rummage Sale Preview and Purchase is Thursday, April 18th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the American Legion. Sale is Friday, April 19th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., sack sale is $3 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. $1.00 admission. To donate items for the sale, deliver items to the American Legion between 8:00 and 11:00 a.m. on April 18th. If you are unable to bring donations, call Tara at 785-626-2646 for pickup

City-Wide Clean-up Day
The City of Atwood annual clean-up day is Monday, April 22nd. Have items to be disposed of on the curb by 8:00 a.m. that morning.

Water Well Testing
Rawlins County Public Health is offering free private water well testing for nitrates, bacteria and total dissolved solids. Additional lead testing is $20. Pick up containers to return by 9:00 a.m. on April 23.

Musician to Perform
Composer and pianist Philip Daniel will perform at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 25 at Rawlins County Elementary School and again at 7:00 p.m. in Redeemer Lutheran Church. The public is invited to attend, admission is free.

Rotary Auction
Atwood Rotary is hosting a "Tailgate Party" fundraising event on Saturday, April 27 at the Columbian Hall in Atwood. The event features live and silent benefit auctions. Dinner will be served. Purchase tickets from any Rotary member or make a reservation at The Bank by calling 785-626-3226

Fried Chicken Dinner
At the Atwood Masonic Lodge the second Sunday each month! Dinner served from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with take-out available. Call Dave at 785-626-6107.

NEED A RIDE?
The Rawlins County Shuttle offers convenient transportation to anybody in Rawlins County.
The shuttle travels all over Rawlins County and is free to county residents. 24 hour notice is greatly appreciated, but not completely necessary. Rides are given on a first come first serve basis. This project is funded in part by the KDOT Public Transportation Program. CALL (785) 626-9625
