Flag Day Celebration with Goodland Elks Lodge
Saturday, June 14th at 11:30 a.m. (MT) at Chambers Park (201 W. 13th St.) The public is invited to attend! Goodland Elks Lodge is hosting a Flag Day Celebration to honor our veterans. Free hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, drinks and cookies will be served. Elks Essay Contest winners' essays will be read and a flag will be presented that has been flown over our state's capitol.

Virtual Clinic on Friday, June 13th
The KC Digital Drive team, in conjunction with Kansas Legal Services, will be offering a free virtual expungement clinic in the 15th Judicial District from 10 AM- 4 PM. Call (316) 267-3975 to register. Expungements are the removal of an arrest or conviction from a person’s criminal record. Kids Free Fishing Derby at Villa High
There will be a Kids Free Fishing Derby from 9 AM-12 PM on Saturday, June 14th at Villa High Park, for kids in Kindergarten to 4th grade. Pre registration is due by June 9th, but walkups the day of are welcome as well. Each pre-registered child will get a free hotdog meal, otherwise, it will be $5. To register, CLICK HERE. Day at the Museum Camp this week features 'Crafts From The Past' on Thursday, June 12th, from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM. At this camp session, kids will enjoy learning how to make some old-fashioned crafts and flexing their creativity skills! We're super excited to see everyone there!
Day at the Museum Camp this week features 'Volt Vision STEM Camp' on Thursday, June 19th, from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM. At this camp session, kids will be learning about electricity, batteries, and the devices that power the things around us!
Day at the Museum Camp this week features 'Innovation Station' on Thursday, June 26th, from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM. At this camp session, kids will experience hands-on activities to teach them about conductors, circuits, and how they're made! Once again we can't wait to see everyone there!

Picnic in the Park
Join us in Fike Park every Wednesday, from June 4-July 16 for Picnic in the Park! Grab your lawn chairs, lunch, and a drink and listen to live music in the park. This Wednesday, listen to Wiggins and Dirt Band, and get your lunch from Kiwanis Club serving hot dogs for a free-will donation.
Extension Day Camp June 16th and 17th
Thomas County Extension Day Camp will be June 16 and June 17, from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM, drop off/check in begins at 8:45 AM. June 16 is ages 5-8 and June 17 is ages 9-12. Ages 13+ can volunteer- everyone's invited! You do not have to be enrolled in 4-H. Activities for the day include STEM, garden fun, crafts & snacks, and outdoor games. $10 per participant, register by CLICKING HERE
Situational Awareness Class
2Protect Family's Barry Kaaz is instructing a Situational Awareness class at Colby Community College. The course will be 4 weeks long,1 credit hour, and online, from June 2-June 26.
