In Colby:
Book Club for Teens
Options and Brewing up Words will be hosting a Book Club for Teens every other Monday starting on May 13th at 5:00 p.m., located at Brewing up Words (435 N Franklin). The other book club dates will be on May 27th, June 10th and June 24th.

Color Run Fundraiser
The Mosier Family Adoption Fundraiser will be putting on a 2 mile color run/walk and kids race at the Colby Walking Trail on Saturday, May 18th. All ages welcome, $25 per person. White T-shirt included, prizes for 1st-3rd placing. Race starts at 10:00 a.m., starting and finishing point at CHS. Check in/ late registration is at 9:15 a.m. All proceeds will go towards the adoption fees for the Mosier Family. If you are interested in sponsoring a mile or working the event, please email moiseradoption@gmail.com.

Community Garden Volunteers Needed 
Calling all gardening enthusiasts! Copeland Gardens is needing some extra love and TLC, especially after this beautiful rain we received. If you would like to help out with the community garden please reach out to Maureen Ostmeyer at maureeno@nwksprevention.com

Business After Five
Join us for a Business After 5 with the Colby Rotary Club to celebrate their 100 year anniversary! Located at The Gathering Place (745 South Country Club Dr). See you there on Thursday, May 23rd!

Helping Paws
needs dry cat, dog food and litter. Helping Paws is accepting donations, supplies can be brought to the Colby United Methodist Church during office hours or picked up by volunteers. The pet-food bank is open on Wednesdays from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. and 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. for those who need food and litter. For questions, call 785-460-2761 or email: office@colbyumc.org.
