Potato Bar at Senior Progress Center
The Senior Progress Center is having a Potato Bar from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Center in Fike Park on Friday, November 8th. Cost is $10 per person for a potato and all the fixings, including dessert!

Visual Arts Workshop on Friday, November 8th
The Prairie Museum is hosting a unique visual art workshop from 11 AM. to 1 PM in the Garvey Education Room. The workshop will be led by the museum’s current exhibiting artist, Rhonda Denney. It will offer aspiring artists the chance to try their hand at coloring on fabric using a wide variety of pigments. Items Being Donated Back to Community
The Colby Convention & Visitors Bureau is donating all of their Christmas items back to the community! From 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12 and Wednesday, November 13, come to storage unit 3 behind The Crew and take your pick of goodies! Some items include: Christmas trees, wreaths, reindeer, and stuffed animals. For more information, call the CVB at (785) 460-7643.

Merry Prairie Christmas
It's almost time for the Thomas County Historical Society's annual Merry Prairie Christmas, an important fundraiser for the Prairie Museum of Art and History! The event features a silent auction of fabulous holiday decor and non-seasonal gift items, with proceeds going to support the Prairie Museum's educational programs. Merry Prairie Christmas donation forms can be picked up at the museum or downloaded from its website: www.prairiemuseum.org. Completed forms are due by November 10th. Donated items should be dropped off at the museum by November 17th. Bidding is open from November 19th-December 6th. Thanks in advance for your support of Merry Prairie Christmas!

Free Thanksgiving Meal Offered
The Annual Griffin/Schmid families and friends Thanksgiving Day Free meal will be held at the 4-H building in Colby this year. Turkey, Ham, Mashed potatoes and gravy and sides will be served, carryout or in town delivery is available! This is a free meal for Thanksgiving Day on November 28th from Noon to 4:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome! Bingo open to public every Sunday
The Colby Veterans of Foreign Wars is starting a bingo event every Sunday at 6:00 p.m. at 220 North Lake Ave. Concessions will be provided by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. For information, call Gerald Plantz at 785-443-1802

Helping Paws
needs dry cat, dog food and litter. Helping Paws is accepting donations, supplies can be brought to the Colby United Methodist Church during office hours or picked up by volunteers.
