Push for the Park
Now through October 25th
Every child deserves a safe place to play! Join the Push for the Park Community Campaign to raise funds for the Kenton Krehbiel Inclusive Playground at Villa High. From October 16-25, the goal is to seek as many financial contributions from the community as possible. Donors can give online by CLICKING HERE or by filling out THIS FORM and check to the Thomas County Community Foundation at 350 S Range, Suite 14.

Thomas County History Hunt
The Thomas County Historical Society is celebrating its 65th Anniversary with a Thomas County History Hunt. Pick up your History Hunt booklet at the Prairie Museum of Art & History now through October. Visit the locations across Thomas County, answer the trivia questions, and take a photo at each location. Completed entries will be entered into a drawing for $250 for 1st, $150 for 2nd, and $100 for 3rd place. All entries must be received by October 31st at 5 PM to be eligible for the cash and prize drawing. All participants who complete the booklet will be given a special prize.

Pancake Feed on Saturday, October 26th
Come down to the American Legion (1850 W 4th St) anytime from 7 AM-1 PM, and enjoy their tasty, all-you-can-eat, pancake feed! $8 per person, tickets available from any Kiwanis member. Proceeds go toward Christmas projects, youth projects, and other community services.

Joyful Blessings Dinner on Saturday, October 26th
All are invited to the Joyful Blessings Dinner at First Baptist Church Colby (615 West Webster) from 11:30 AM-12:30 PM.

Annual Parish Auction
Sacred Heart will be having its annual parish auction on Saturday, October 26th. Donations for the auction need to be turned in by October 15th. Tickets are available and can be purchased by contacting the parish office. The auction is at 5:30 PM at City Limits Convention Center. Senior Center Dance on Sunday, October 27th
The Senior Progress Center (165 Fike Park) is having a dance from 3-6 PM. $10 per person, bring snacks to share.

Bingo open to public every Sunday
The Colby Veterans of Foreign Wars is starting a bingo event every Sunday at 6:00 p.m. at 220 North Lake Ave. Concessions will be provided by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. For information, call Gerald Plantz at 785-443-1802

Helping Paws
needs dry cat, dog food and litter. Helping Paws is accepting donations, supplies can be brought to the Colby United Methodist Church during office hours or picked up by volunteers. The pet-food bank is open on Wednesdays from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. and 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. for those who need food and litter. For questions, call 785-460-2761 or email: office@colbyumc.org.
