Blood Drive at CCC February 20th

The Colby Community College practical nursing program will be assisting with the
American Red Cross blood drive from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Robert Burnett Student
Union. Currently, the Red Cross is facing a blood emergency and issued an urgent
call for eligible individuals of all blood types to give. Blood is a perishable commodity
and must be regularly replaced. Each donation can help save several lives. To donate
blood, a person must be in general good health and feeling well, be at least 17 years
old and weigh at least 110 pounds. Donors must present identification at registration
in the form of a Red Cross donor card, a valid driver’s license or other official
photo identification.
Donors receive a T-shirt while supplies last. Appointments can be made by calling
(785) 460-4797 or visit
and enter sponsor code "ColbyCC."
