Spring is here, schools are closed and more people are at home due to the CVOID-19 response. Getting outside to get exercise is perfect but be safe doing it.
· Walk on sidewalks whenever possible
· If you are walking on the road, walk facing traffic as far from the traffic as you can get.
· Cross streets at crosswalks of intersections.
· Assume drivers cannot see you
· Wear bright reflective clothing



Wednesday Weather

A cold front moves through the central High Plains region today bringing colder temperatures tonight through Thursday. Gusty northwest winds and light rain are expected behind the front later today. Light rain will mix with and change to light snow tonight, and then diminish through Thursday morning. Precipitation will stay confined to mostly far east central Colorado before moving into southwest Kansas on Thursday. Portions of far western Kit Carson and Cheyenne counties in Colorado could see as much as 1-2 inches of snowfall. Warmer and dryer conditions are on their way for Friday and Saturday ahead of the next storm system expected late in the weekend.
